On Friday, October 18th, 2024, Hovey Williams is hosting our 3rd Annual Intellectual Property (IP) Bootcamp in Overland Park, Kansas. This program seeks to expose diverse students in undergrad, graduate, and law school to the field of IP and spark interest in career paths in IP. This year’s program is co-facilitated by Jaclyn Alcantara and Dianne Smith-Misemer. We are also excited to welcome back members of the USPTO Rocky Mountain Regional Office as special guest speaker(s).

We are now accepting applications. Accepted participants will attend seminar sessions on patent, trademark, and copyright law, participate in hands-on learning activities, and listen to current IP practitioners during a career panel. There will be multiple opportunities to network with other attendees and Hovey attorneys. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
