Tom joined the firm in 1992, became a registered patent agent in 1993, a patent attorney in 1994, and was admitted to partnership in 1998. Tom has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering and focuses his practice on patent prosecution, licensing, and IP counseling, with a particular emphasis on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the aviation, software, navigation, optics, and electronic fields.
